I was inspired by Singapore’s National flower- Vanda Miss Joaquim. The vibrant colours of the flower, and the various shades of purple caught my attention. They are also known for their hardiness and resilience, qualities that reflect the Singapore Spirit.✨ • The scallop shapes around the edges are scales of the Merlion, and I painted it blue as the colour represents ‘Unity’. Combining these parts together into a cohesive design, this reflects the ‘Togetherness’ of different but complementing elements.
